Healthy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta

 Ingredients

  • 200–250g whole wheat pasta

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 4–6 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 cup low-fat milk or unsweetened almond milk

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook Pasta:

    Boil whole wheat pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.

  2. Cook Chicken:

    • Season chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning.

    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

    • Cook chicken ~5–7 min per side until fully done.

    • Remove from pan and slice.

  3. Make Sauce:

    • In same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant (~1 min).

    • Add low-fat milk and simmer gently.

    • Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.

  4. Combine:

    • Add cooked pasta and sliced chicken to sauce.

    • Toss until well coated.

  5. Serve:

    • Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes.
